Western Digital Corp. has topped its WD Passport Portable USB Drive family with a new 120GB model -- enough for 53 hours of DVD-quality video or over 30,000 MP3 songs, the company says -- priced at $199. (A handy carrying case is $25.) The Passport features a quiet- and cool-running WD Scorpio 2.5-inch EIDE hard disk with 5,400 rpm performance and a 2MB cache in a package measuring 3.5 by 5.7 by 0.8 inches. With most PCs, its able to draw its power from the USB port, with no need for a separate power supply.
