That special gift – your unique contribution – that you came to share with the world was locked away long before it was given a chance to be expressed.
And now you are starting to feel the ache -- that feeling of discontent and dissatisfaction in the depth of your soul. No matter how much more you add to your life, how many more hours you work, how much more stuff you buy, the feeling
doesn’t ease. In fact, if feels like the hole is widening.
You know it is there when you hear yourself asking, “Is this all there is?” Or thinking, “I make a lot of money, but I am still so unhappy. Why is that?” You even know it is there when your alarm goes off in the morning and the only thing you can think is, “Why am I so darned tired all the time?”

And what is so frustrating is you aren’t really sure how that happened. If you are like the thousands of extremely successful people out there today, you are wondering, when did I lose my passion? When did I lose myself? When did everything I’ve achieved suddenly not feel fulfilling anymore?
And, even though you aren’t alone in these thoughts, it feels like you are. It seems like
most people continue to play the charade. In fact, you may even have started believing that it is normal to feel slightly disconnected from your life. That it is normal to despise Mondays and live for the weekends. That listening to the voice inside of you that keeps telling you that something is missing -- that something more is possible -- is just you being greedy and ungrateful for all you do have.

So here it is. Plain and simple. This hidden truth is that every single person, which includes you, has come to this earth for a reason. A very specific and unique reason. You and every other human have come to the earth with a gift, a unique and special contribution to offer the world. This contribution is truly the fingerprint of your individual spirit and soul. Not one other person can offer what you came to share in the exact way you came to share it. Which also means, that in order to truly realize the greatest potential and satisfaction within your soul, you must uncover what this contribution is and express it to the world.
Now, when you think about a contribution to the world, you may be thinking that means something grandiose and life changing for millions. And, yes, it can mean that, but it doesn’t have to. We are not all Oprah.
Contributions also show up in much smaller ways. They can show up by affecting only one other person. They can show up by creating avenues for others to make their contributions. They can show up by being an integral player in a group effort that affects thousands. And sometimes you may never know how much impact your contribution has. But that doesn’t matter

because that is not the point. The point behind a contribution, and specifically your contribution, is that when you are offering it and sharing it with the world, that is when you will find your greatest bliss, your greatest connection to who you are and your greatest opportunity to experience true passion and success. There is truly no other way to get to this feeling. Uncovering what you came here to share is the secret that so many have never been told.
Over the past three years I have had the amazing and also challenging opportunity to delve into this truth. I have learned how it works, what becoming aware of it can do for me and most importantly, how critical those feelings of dissatisfaction, restlessness and boredom were to finding the connection I was so desperately missing for so long.
If you are feeling that ache inside, you may be thinking that there is something terribly wrong happening. You may be feeling like no matter what you do, nothing seems to ease that restless feeling; like something is missing. What I learned is that if that feeling is coming up in your life it is actually a wonderful thing. It is a sign. It is a sign telling you that you are ready to begin uncovering what you are most wanting to share with the world. Now, it doesn’t mean that you have any idea what that is,
necessarily, although many do (when they quiet their chattering minds). What this feeling means is that you have gained the experience, learned the lessons, walked the path and created the opportunity to being ready for your next adventure. The key to knowing if what you are feeling is about uncovering your contribution is if you feel it in your gut. If something deep inside is telling you right now that this is exactly what is going on. Then you know it is time to begin this journey.
Once you know you are ready to embark on uncovering your unique contribution, the required resources will appear. You will begin believing that you can find passion again and, even though there is something missing, that you know you can find it. The journey is not always without challenges and awakenings, as the minute you begin seeking more, all the blocks, and limiting beliefs that have kept you prodding along for so many years will raise their heads in protest. However, when you know that this is absolutely the next path for you, these challenges and contrasts you may experience become a part of the journey and only add to the joy when they are
overcome.
If you know that this is you and you are no longer willing to shuffle along, I encourage you to make this commitment to yourself. I encourage you to begin the journey toward what makes you special and unique to this human experience. It is
the most amazing, scary, chaotic, fantastic, enlivening and imperative journey you will ever take. You will know that nothing – NOTHING – that can replace this connection you feel when you are sharing your special contribution. The ache of
boredom, numbness, dissatisfaction and restlessness will no longer consume you. You will be connected to the very fingerprint of your soul. That is what I want for you. That is what I know is possible. And now, so do you.
